Intended for young Israeli and Polish film-makers to show how they perceive each others’ countries. With help from experienced documentarians they will develop their personal projects and see the best ones produced. There are four workshops intended for 12 film schools students and fresh graduates from both countries (you can find the list of those qualified in PARTICIPANTS). The project is based on the experience gained since 2004 during production of the "Russia – Poland. New Gaze project” that resulted so far in 14 documentary films. The films have been broadcast on Polish Television and shown at many festivals and featured screenings abroad, winning numerous awards including Special Commendation at Prix Europa Festival in Berlin; Sterling Short Grand Jury Award at the SilverDocs Festival AFI/Discovery Channel Documentary Festival; The Grand Prix Award at the 46th Cracow Film Festival, or Prize For The Best Short Documentary at the International documentary film festival "Flahertiana-2006" in Perm. That project was co-produced by Eureka Media and Adam Mickiewicz Institute in collaboration with Polish Film Institute, Polish Television, Polish Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, six film schools from Poland and Russia, and European Documentary Network.
